H&R 929 with White grips?

This is the first 929 I've seen with white grips. It says "Model 929 H&R Inc. Worcester Mass. USA" on the left side of the 6" barrel. And "SIDE-KICK" on the right side. The serial number prefix is the letter "Y" with four numbers which makes it a 1962. The white grips are what gets my attention. I have never seen this before. Is this common? They have the H&R molded into the grip above the checkering. The frame is blued and the gun is in near new condition so I figured it was worth looking into.If you need more information let me know and Thanks for any help you can provide!

  have one also with one-piece grip, white/ivory. Believe its a R101

  I'm no expert, but, those grips were common for the year/model.
  Here's a pic of my 1954 model 922, which slao had some different looking grips.

  Thanks guys for the information. After I traded for this one today I visited with a few dealers I know and none had seen the white grips before. So that picked my interest. JamesJo I have never seen grips like yours before either. If I turn this gun into a shooter I will put a set of wood grips on it so the white ones don't get damaged. I would like to make a set similar to the ones on my 939. I really like the feel of those [:o)].
