remington 12-a
Hi there, I recently aquired a remington 12-a pump .22 rifle. I cantr find any barrel code only serial number number on underside of gun in front of trigger gaurd which is RW 130243 I would like to know the year manufactured. Any help out there? Thanks

Look on the left side of the barrel's rear just in front of the receiver, almost under the barrel. 0 -
remington didn't start using the 'barrel codes' untill the 1920's so you rifle is probaly mgf. before that (1909-1920... 0 -
OK guys, I found what looks to be "XR2" but cant really tell, real light print. thought it was scratches at first. 0 -
does anybody know if I can check dates by using serial number? 0
