Is it the picture or lighting that makes the cylinder look a different shade than the rest of the gun?

Hope I'm wrong, but looks very much like a refinish job, which will really hurt value (dished around screws?)

From those pictures, especially the frame screw areas, if appears to have been buffed and refinished.
