Winchester 1894, S/N 870322, SR carbine, ladder rear sight, 30-30. Anyone know the DOM? 0 -
Could be an early 1919 manufacture date according to the latest Blue Book. Bert will give you more definitive information. 0 -
Late 1917, I got Bert and Larry's new book.[:D] 0 -

Is Bert trying to keep his book sales to a minimum, or is this some sort of inner circle thing?![:D][:D][:D]0 -

Kimi, twist his arm!
This isn't the one on 1885's, It's the one he worked on with Larry Shennum. Titled "Winchester, An Investment Option" that I picked up from him at the Fall Reno Show. I sent the redhead over to strongarm him into autographing it, and getting me the good friend discount.[:D]
If you've never been, it's well worth the trip just to see all the tables with collector Winchesters. Bert has to sell these books to cover the bar tab at the Outback we stick him with.[:p]

[:D][:D][:D] That's funny TRAP! I'll send him an email, thanks for the info. I do need to get out more and see some big shows. Who knows, I just might make a Reno show before too long.

Good morning O-C! Is Bert hawking sales over there to pay for his Reno tab at the Outback?! [:D] I'll go to the Winchester forum and check it out; it would be nice to have some updated info on serial numbers. And, a hearty St. Patty's Day to you and the wife, too! [:D]0 -
