GERMAN SEMI AUTO

I acquired this previously. 1944-45 i believe this was made around then. Can anyone please tell me any info they might have and what the value is? I am going to try to sell this.

Has german manufactures stamp on it's top right side by the grip

    Looks like a Unique Model 17, which I believe is sometimes called the Model L. Looks to be in very nice shape and with the German markings I'd guess it would bring $275-$300.

    It seems to be in very nice shape. One has been sold recently on this auction, it did have a holster though. If you do a smart search using Unique Model 17 as your search term, I'm sure you will find it. You likely will be pleasantly surprised at what it sold for.

    superstarrman....as you have been told, this is a French pistol, not German. When the German Army overran France in May/June, 1940 they took over the French plant in Hendaye, in the Pyrenees that made this pistol. Then, as they usually did, they resumed production to incorporate the pistol into German use. About 58,000 of these little nine shot (SCHUSS in German...Coups in French) were made, so yours was near the end of the production run. If you have the holster and it is Waffen marked (perhaps with the WaAD20 on the outer flap) you have a very nice little correct rig from WWII worth $500+ to a collector. Hope this helps.

    Wow, that is interesting. I really like hearing the history of the piece. I am looking for the holster this week, it may be in a box. Thank you for the extra information.
