I have been hearing this from lots of people as well. Though I haven't shot it yet, the TCP seems to have a nice trigger pull when I held it the other day.

    Good Day,
I can get reasonable grouping with my LCP but I don't like this gun. A trigger that sloppy causes inaccuracy. Ruger says the
severe pull length is a safety feature, but I wonder for who, the
    bad guy?
If I can't find someone to do a trigger job, reasonably, I'll get rid of it.
Also, as a life long Ruger fan, I am disappointed they would
so blatantly copy the Keltec. Shameless.

How do the above compare with the Kel-tec?

I've actually "Pepsi challenged" the Ruger LCP and the Kel-Tec 3AT shooting them side by side at the same session.

They're more or less the same thing. IIRC the Ruger has a slide stop and the Kel-Tec doesn't but otherwise they're virtually identical. The Ruger is a little less "boxy" which is good, I guess, but since the Kel Tec wore a grip sleeve and pinky finger mag extension, it was actually a bit more comfortable. (Note that you could easily add these things to the Ruger). Overall recoil/trigger feel/action feel were similar.

In short they're more alike than different, and if you don't like one you probably won't like the other.

Haven't tried the Taurus version of this thing:
