mossberg with poly choke
we have a 16 gauge with a poly choke bolt action shotgun fixed sight in front vee in rear i believe it was manufactured in the 60s any help would be appreciated im looking for any info on this item

Well your not going to find out the exact date because there is no serial number if it was produced before 1968, and without a model number or photos there isn't much to tell. 0 -
It's not, in all probability, a "Poly-Choke". It has a choke device made by Mossberg. 0 -
We HAVE to have a model number to even get near the year made. Mossberg made many models in numerous variations over the years. Pictures would be helpful also. 0 -

In a nutshell- These were the guns of a working man- or a first gun for a young hunter. They are safe, durable, reliable, low cost firearms. There is a modest collector interest in the shotguns, but their main value is as a shooter. I keep a Mossy 20 and 12 as a loaner gun for visitors (mostly grandkids and their friends)0
