1965 Saint Augustine Quadricentennial Scout

Old.22Bolts
Colt .22 revolver.....
A friend of mine has two sequential serial number of these revolvers and I'm trying to help him decide what they are worth. They have never been fired and have been in the original boxes since purchased and he is the original owner.

    He may be in for some disappointment. It think these cost about $80 brand new and it might be worth $400-$450 today, maybe a little more to a collector in St. Augustine. $80 back in 1965 is equal to about $550 in today's money so he'd need to get that much out of the gun just to break even on the purchase[V]

    Have to agree with Mark .C.,,for some reason these little Colts just don't command a good price. It would seem they would be worth that for "shooters,".

    guns sold as instance collectibles seldom are . Colt made a larger number of total Commemorative pistols then standard ones
