My new Saiga 12ga wont cycle.. period...?
I've tried different loads and setting the indicator from 1 to 2 and back,cleaned it and lube like crazy ...Is there a simple (cheap) solution? The action seems rough but my Ak47 is about the same feel but fires flawlessly.

What exactly is happening?
I'm not a saiga 12 expert but I like to build and play around with aks.
You might make sure the hammer spring feet are correctly on top of the trigger bars. Also make sure their's a sheppards hook installed.
I have some images somewhere but will have to dig for them tonight.
Make sure you are sling shotting the bolt handle to chamber the 1st round.
Make sure you're holding the rifle tight into your shoulder.
Make sure the adjustable gas system is in the correct on position.
Lastly try some 2 3/4 - 12 ga high brass rifled slugs in it. See if you can blast through a couple boxes.0 -
Some of them came over with the gas ports incorrectly done.

Send it back. You have gas port issues unless it's clogged which I doubt. 0 -

From what I've seen, they're all that way. There are some people who can rework on them and make them work pretty well, but as far as I have been able to learn, none of them work right out of the box. 0 -
I've had S-12s, a couple hundred SNs apart, which exhibited....
Two gas port holes.
Three gas port holes.
Four gas port holes.
Really. Russian QC is a contradiction in terms.0
