Chinese AK from Vietnam
My office had a person donate a Chinese AK 47 to us. It belonged to a deceased U.S. pilot. He got this AK when he was in Vietnam in the 1960's. It is full auto and in very good shape. It has a 30 rnd magazine. Does anyone have any idea what this weapon is worth?

If it has the papers and was registered with the BATFE before or during the amnesty in November 1968 it is worth considerable money. If it has no papers it is contraband and cannot be registered now. Possession of an unregistered machine gun is a serious felony so be careful where you tread. If you have the papers then we can give you a value. With no papers it is worthless because it cannot be legally sold. 0 -
I work for a sheriff's office and our DA found the gun in her house and later found out it was her husband's father's. She brought it to us. We are waiting for a trace to come back on it to see if it was registered. If it comes back that it has been registered how much is it worth? 0 -
$15,000, maybe more. 0
