.40 S&W ammo
I just picked up a .40S&WVE and was wondering what would be the better ammo to get started shooting. As not having a .40S&W before I didn't want to wade trough a bunch of brass to find out what load to shoot so I thought I would ask and find out what ammunition would be a good place to start. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum. Are you talking about reloading...or ideas on loaded ammo? Loaded ammo I like Federal and Winchester best...with Remington a close second. 0 -

Start out with 180 gr. Flat Nose FMJ - usually the least expensive in any brand, and loaded to lower power levels than the 165, 155 and 135 gr. rounds, which are usually reserved for SD types. 0
