Any opinions on the Blaser made shotguns ? It's a new name for me , have any experienced the prodicts ?

    The Blaser I know is a European Co. well established there and known for state of the art well made expensive firearms. Their bolt action rifle is unique and has advantages unobtainable with conventional designs.

    I've never seen nor tried a Blaser SHOTGUN.

    As mentioned, the Blaser RIFLES are caliber-convertible, highly accurate, and use a unique straight-pull bolt action.

    They're also expensive as heck.

    If the quality of the shotgun is anywhere near the quality of the rifle (and I'd imagine it is), then its probably a good gun. . .if you can afford it! [;)]


    Edit: Yeah, they're German. The one I shot was from a German buddy of mine in .300 Win Mag. SWEEET action, nice trigger. If I remember right, he told me he paid over $10,000 for it (in Germany).

    I looked over their shotguns on line. No prices but I can image they are top shelf. There are quite a few well made specific purpose shotguns in that arena. Think you should find someone( post in the competition area) who is deep into sporting clays/etc before you purchase.
