    ToTheFloor,
Welcome to the Forum. Dano's advice will get you the quickest and most meaningful information. The GP100 is a great revolver. I sure plan to hold onto mine! If you want a more specific response than what you can infer from the auction side, you'll need to provide a number of close-up and clear pictures. While the GP100 isn't usually considered a "collector", considerations like whether or not you have the original box and papers, if it all original or has been altered in any way, etc. will also impact what someone is likely to offer for it.

TO THE FLOOR...welcome to GB Forum and thanks for your question. The Ruger GP100 is one fine gun but very available on the market so not that valuable. Remember that "real nice condition" means one thing to one person, something else to another. Condition goes from NIB (New in the box) down to junk. So photos would help. But it is not a "collectible" as you have been told, but a nice pistol nonetheless. Now is not the time to sell anything really as the market is "soft" and a good time to be a buyer, not a seller. I, too, have a GP100 in 4" Stainless, keep it with me always, trust it with my life on CC, and would not sell it for less than $500 w/o box and papers if I was going to sell it, which I never will. Hope this helps.

Used blue 6" .357 Ruger GP100s in about 95% condition currently go for about $400, give or take $25.

Note that the gun is in current production by Ruger, is not particularly scarce, and therefore doesn't command much collectors value. If you want a brand new one, they run about or just under $500.

Its a very nice revolver, by the way, and you could do a lot worse for a gun for practice, target shooting, home defense, or hunting small-to-medium game.

any item is worth what you can sell it for at that time, that's how I look at it and I always check what stuff is selling for not listed for since not everything is priced to sell.
