browning wheelsight
Can you put a wheelsight on a 62 foldown leaf barrel ,and is 75.00 too much to pay for the sight,any help would be appreciated.

Sure Can!
Duct Tape, Super Glue, Baling Wire, etc.
But why?
IF you need a leaf sight for one, I have them available.
And can be sometimes found on "For Sale".
Many were removed to put on scope base and mis-placed and
not that easy to find, depending upon vintage of rifle.
The milling process to properly install a wheel sight would, in my
mind be not cost effective and ruin the originality of the barrel.
As the dovetail is different and an "Indentation" would also have to be milled for wheel.
So you would have "New" dovetail and the original one also.
And I would question proper sight alignment to front sight.
There were two different front sights for the wheel sight models
$75.00 is very fair for "Original" OEM wheel sight, not for repro.,
though if complete with wheel and leaf sight.
