Check out these videos, Something to be learned even if you don't ice fish, but boat/fish in cold water. weather areas or play with your ATV/Snowbuggie on lakes or rivers.

I have fished and played on lake and river ice my whole life and I feel I got something out of them.

These might help one come home from a trip

  The one common thing throughout the whole thing is, DON'T PANIC!
  Fear and panic kill more people that the cold.
  Also having a mag stick and a knife,and flint, ANY TIME you are out in a wilderness area.
