    Try Krause Publications Bookstore...Look for Winchester long gun exploded drawings....costs about 7 bucks.

    Coonhunter, I've never taken an M43 apart but I think it's like an overgrown M69a. See if you can move the crosspin with a pin-punch. The plug on the back of the bolt with a slot is not threaded, the slot is there to align the plug holes upon re-assembly.
    Don't use much force, just gentle tapping on the crosspin to see that it moves. The plug is spring loaded so be careful where it's aimed. Remember, this is what I think it is; I'm not certain so go slow and easy.

    Others, advise coonhunter if I'm wrong.

    Yes the crosspin does hold it in and it is spring loaded. Once inside there appears to be another pin holding in the firing pin but I did not see the need to take it out, a can of carburetor cleaner took care of it from there.
