Getsem Gun CO Animal trap gun

I have reciently aquired a trap gun. It was Made by Getsem Gun Co, in Lincoln, Ne. I cannot find any information on it or the company. DOes anyone know anything? Can post a Picture Later.

    Can't tell from photo if it's percussion or breech loading, but if it fires a metallic cartridge or shotshell, it's probably illegal to possess unless registered.

    The gun shoots 410 and 45 cal blanks. You load the gun by unscrewwing the barrel. It was made ithe 1920's. The one can be set up to be triggered by either pushing or pulling the trigger mechanism.

    It is similar to the Taylor Fur Getter. But seems to be a much simpler, and easily made gun.[img][/img]

    It might be to your advantage to ascertain the legality of ownership and possession prior to attempting to sell it. Although you say it only shoots "blanks",(WINK,WINK), the feds are unlikely to accept that.

    Local sherif said not to worry about it nothing illegal about it. There is no numbers on it and there for no need to regester it.

    Your local "SHERIF" SP is not the folks you need to worry about to see if legal to own THE FED'S BATFEare the ONLY ones that can tell you if legal or not.
