Stevens 94 opening when fired
I have a Stevens 94K 12g ejector, today when I took it to the range it started wanting to pop open when it fires. It did it about 6 times out of 12 shots or so that I took with it.
I figure that it might be a weak spring for the top lever or something.
I intend to bring it to a gunsmith to have a look at it when I get the chance, but just wanted to see if anyone on here has had a similar problem and what the issue could be.

this is usualy caused by your thumb 'bumping' the top snap on recoil, try shooting the shotgun with your thumb along side the top snap instead of over the top of the wrist (or grip the wrist realy tightly). 0
