S&W model 60 info request

Hello, I just acquired a S&W model 60 in mint condition with box and papers. The serial number is 477616 Does anyone know the year that this was manufactured? Thank you

  The Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson doesn't show a specific year, but a range of 1965-1969. With that SN, it probably has a bright finish with case color hammer & trigger.
  
  In mint condition with the box, it is a desirable variation.

  The Jinks book puts it the 1966/1967 range. Does your gun happen to have adjustable sights?

  Yes, it has a bright finish with case color hammer and trigger. It does not have adjustable sights. Thank you for your comments, I look forward to anything else anyone has to say. [:)]
