Oshkosh Trap Gun

I have a Oshkosh Trap Gun, Oshkosh Arms Co., Oshkosh, WI.
Can you tell me it's value?
It is missing the ejector.
It has a small crack in the stock.
It has a 32" Barrel.

    There was no Oshkosh Arms Company. The gun is a "Trade Brand Name" shotgun. A "Trade Brand Name" shotgun is one that was made by a major maker for and sold by a wholesaler or retailer who chose the name to go on the gun. In this case if the name is just Oshkosh Trap Gun Co (more about that in a moment) it was made by Forehand (name used by Hopkins & Allen after 1903) for and was sold by Frank Percy of Oshkosh,WI. a retail gun dealer. There were other shotguns with this name like Oshkosh Gun Co Model 1895, Oshkosh Trap Gun No. 2, Oshkosh Ejector Field Gun No.1 and Oshkosh Trap Double Gun No.3X all made by various makers. You have two chances of finding an ejector, slim and none. Hopkins & Allen was sold in 1915 to the Marlin-Rockwell Corporation and all shotgun production ceased. However all is not quite lost. You can haunt and surf the various gun auction sites for parts, Occasionally strange gun parts and whole parts guns will show up for sale. And you might be able to find a gunsmith or machinest who can make a replacement although the cost might be more that the value of the gun. Also the same thing holds true for the broken stock or you might be able to repair this your self.
    Value will depend on the condition of the gun, the amount of original finish remaining on the metal and the wood as well as the mechanical condition. These old guns can sell for anywhere from about $150 for an excellent condition example to less that $10 for a rusty rotten incomplete piece of junk that would make a good boat anchor. Most sell in the $50 to $75 range.
