hercules model 40

Does anyone have any information on a hercules model 40 410ga.It appeared to be approx. 5-6 inches long and resembles a pen.It is single shot and fires by pulling back on a spring loaded firing pin.Made by Hercules Chicago Ill.Would this be legal to own?The barrel is approx. 3 in.long. Thanks

  This falls under the category "Any Other Weapon" and I'm pretty sure they not legal.

  These are not legal unless already registered and with their federal paper work. None can be registered today.
