Serial No. Vs. value Question....

On collector guns what kind of premium would you put on 3,2 and 1 digit serial no's? All input appreciated.

  Colt SAA or 1911 BIG $$ Winchesters IMHO also big $$ others [?][?][?]. I think the closer it is to collector status the more $$ the more toward a shooter very little

  There is no "set in stone" answer to your question, but there with out a doubt is a premium $$ value associated with the very low serial numbered collector guns. The actual premium paid will ultimately be decided by the individual collector(s) who are buying the guns. The actual condition and configuration of the gun are the most important factors in the value, with the low serial number being an added extra.
