Can anyone help identify?

This is another pistol I got from my GrandFathers estate. Can anyone tell me what it is? It has a star with an arrow pointing up in it on the left side. You can kind of see it in the pic. And is this worth anything?

It's a Russian, Model 1895 Nagant revolver. Many have been imported and sold as surplus from Eastern Europe over the last 10 years. Usually the sell in the $100-$200 range.

GOOGLE, "Russian Nagant revolver". You'll find more information then you will ever want to know about it.

It is chambered for a round specifically made and unique to that revolver: 7.62x38R. The casing extends up and over the projectile.
