Serial numbers on Colt SAA,, 2nd generation

Hi, Experts. I'm back for more assistance. I know that if the 1st generation Colt SAA had "matching serial numbers" it meant the serial number on the frame, trigger guard, and butt and inside the grips were all the same. How about the 2nd generation SAAs? Did the serial nmuber appear in the same places? Should they match? Thanks Jim

  Yes, again serial numbers in 2nd generation SAAs have the suffix SA.

  Hello the SECOND gen guns and those after have the serial number in ONLY ONE PLACE
