Depriming 5.56 Brass
Put this on the open discussion too.
Anybody run into any Marked "Ik 03 5.56X45" It uses some sort of red sealer.
Busted a few pins and finally gave up. What looks really weird about it is it looks like they use a sleeve to put in a smaller Primer. The sleeve does not come out with the primer and the pocket is too small for a small rifle Primer with it in there.

Flash hole is smaller then normal, that is why your having trouble. If you don't have a lot not worth the hassle.0 -

I was warned of the small flash hole but use a Lee decapper with a smaller pin.
But ended upmwith about 200 of these, think I figured out it was not worth the Hassle. 200 out of about 5,000 is not to bad I guess.0 -
Kept looking at all that brass going to waste. So broke out the drill and opened up the primer pocket to match my other brass. Was able then to press out the old primer. 0 -

I have the same problem, I have about 300 pieces of LC brass that was supposedly once fired and its not. Bought some to sort out to use for my new varmint gun and now it is just there pissing me off.0
