What's it worth
I am looking at a Colt 1991A1 stainless compact model. Just wondering an aproximate value. stock condition extra magazine & shoulder holster.has a couple of light stains or rust in a couple of places..so much for that stainless thing! Haven't tried to clean it might just be chickin grease[:D]

I have a browning Hipower serial #174xx , then after the serial number is (L in cursive or a pa ??)can't really read it ,has a W3a14,on frame,slide and bbl, MR on the trigger guard. german eagle on rear,1 oclock of trigger.
any idea of what it's worth , when it was made and who it might have gone to ??? I think it might be pre WW2 but not sure.oh ya and it still work's just fine !!0 -
My thought is $500-600. But, you really should post photos for us.
Yes, not the first example of a stainless steel gun rusting, maybe they should call it "stain resistant". Do not buy with the thought that you can "clean it up"; stainless steel guns usually have a matt finish that is easy to polish, but just about impossible to "blend".
