COLT AR15 forend
Hello Forum,
I have an older Colt A2 Sporter II carbine that I want to put a tactical forend on. In my search, I have found none which will fit on a COLT. Everything has a 'note' which states it won't fit a Colt. What's the difference between Bushmaster, Rock River, and all the rest that makes this such a problem? AND I'm sure that somewhere out there someone knows the answer as well as a source for this rare animal.
Thanks to all and my most SINCERE thanks and appreciation to all military members and vets !!!!!!!!!!

Check out www.knightarmco.com for one. They are expensive but they fit Colts. Alos www.gggaz.com should work. 0 -
Midwest Industries also make one that fits Colt.

If you are going to do free floating rails I dont think it will fit any gun.0 -
I believe the ARMS front rails will fit the Colt this is the rail in the first picture but they do make them for the shorter carbine versions as well. If your using a free float tactical hand guard it shouldn't matter which one you use as they screw on directly to the upper receiver and the upper receiver thread is universal. 0
