High Standard M-101 Pistol
First Post. I was left this over 30 years ago by my father. It's a model M-101 DuraMatic made in 1956 in perfect shape. When he bought it 1956, it came with both a 4 1/2" & 6 1/2" barrel. Over the years I have lost the 4 1/2" barrel. Anyone have an idea where I can find one of these? Condition is not important, but I want to leave to my grandkids as he bought it.

Your best bet would be either the dealers who specialize in replacement used parts, i.e. Gun Parts Corp. Or the large on-line gun auctions, also at one time flea bay allowed barrels to be sold, I don't know if that still is the case? 0 -
I've seen a couple over the years for sale here on GB. Just keep looking. I sold one of those BTW. I had three High Standards and figured one needed to go. So did another. But I kept the H-D Military. Fun guns to shoot. 0 -
Thanks: I tried GunPartsCorp and they are sold out of both barrels. I'll keep looking. 0 -
The 4-1/2" barrels are easier to find than the 6" which i am looking for. They dod pop up from time to time on gunbroker here. 0 -
Is there a way to post a "Wanted" on GB? I've sold a lot of guns over the years on GB, but never looked to buy anything. Old username was "dick471" but can't find my old password & my ISP changed so has the mail address. 0 -
I was on Gun Parts the otherday, looking for a grip for one. The barrels said they were all sold out of both sizes.
There are a couple of auction sites and collector sites to check, including this one. Best of luck to you. It is a very fun, and accurate pistol.
