Iver Johnson TP22 firing pin?
How do you remove the firing pin from the TP 22?

With care and a roll pin punch. The extractor spring and safety lever need to be removed from the slide; they are held with roll pins. 0 -
The extractor does not need to be removed. With the safety turned between safe & fire positions depress the firing pin forward all the way and the remove the safety to the left. It may require some wiggling. There is a spring and ball on the right side of the channel the safety rides in, be careful not to loose these.
After the safety is removed you will find that the firing pin is still held in the slide. There is a small star shaped piece pressed in the underside of the slide just forward of the safety. This needs to be removed to free the firing pin.0
