  We really need to see pictures of this. Actually it would be nice to see pictures of all the parts too...bolt carrier, bolt, upper, and lower.

  If it is truly in that kind of condition and is a 3 digit Colt, you are talking 1-2K.

  The number given is not in the issued range for a Colt AR-15. Without photos, I have no idea of what you own, let alone the value. At least 1 photo must be close enough that we can read the markings on the side of the lower receiver.
