Help Identify my F.N. 7mm Mauser

hayseed
It has few markings. It cocks on closing the bolt. The man I bought it from told me his dad bought it in the 50's. He had a synthetic stock put on it when the original cracked. Any ideals?

    Standard FN Fabrique Nacional small ring Mauser. Cock on closing is excellent BTW. Much easier to open after firing than the cock on opening. GREAT RIFLE BTW!

    There is a similar Mauser shown in Robert Ball's Mauser book. More then likely your rifle was originally a Model 1893 Long Rifle made for both Brazil and Spain in 7 X 57mm. Their serial numbers are shown with a "A" prefix similar to yours, with similar Proof Marks on the barrel.
