AR-10 mags

Are the mags for AR-10's interchangeable, as Armalite and DPMS. Also, why does DPMS list there's at 19 rounds. Do you load them to 20 and have 19 in mag and one in the chamber or is it 19 absolutely no more. Thanks.

    What brand of AR-10 does the Magpul new 7.62 mag fit.

    The Armalite AR-10
    The DPMS LR-308 or LR(R-25 as well?)
    The Rock River LAR-8

    The web site says MK10/M110 and M118LR. Also a compent on SR25 type rifles.

    Also, Armalite uses modified M14/M1a mags, RR uses FAL mags, DPMS proprietary?

    DPMS and R25 - I think DPMS actually makes the Remington? I have some and they work fine in my POF/DPMS. I mostly use CProducts mags though.

    They are the Stoner style rifles.

    DPMS, R-25 (DPMS), Knights SR-25, ect

    The Rock River uses cheap and plentiful FAL mags...

    Magpul makes mags that fit the SR-25/DPMS LR-308/POF/ect ect

    C-productsllc also makes steel 5, 10 and 20 round mags that fit the SR-25/LR-308, and they are good quality and good priced, like $16 apiece...
