Lee-Enfield throat erosion gages? Home method?

I have a couple of no.1mk3s. Does anyone know of a source for throat gages?

Can you tell how bad the erosion is based on how far a bullet will enter the throat? I place a bullet backward into a resized case and close the bolt. One leaves 0.6" of bullet sticking out, the other leaves 0.56.
