50 BMG Question

Hello and yes I am a newby.I have been trying to find out more info on the Hesse 50BMG.I own one and have put about 100 rounds through it and never had a problem though it is not very accurate.But all the articals I have read say stay away from the Hesse and Vulcan arms BMG my question is why?

  I posted this over in GD and somebody suggested to try here.
  
  Hey all, I just got my new 50bmg upper in today and was wondering is anybody had a good way to sight it in for 600yds on a 100yd range using the least shots possible?
  I was planning on getting a boresighter to click the scope on there and using Point Blank to find the trajectory and bore line drop and add the boredrop and the 100yd trajectory to get how high above the dot my crosshairs should be, before firing my first shot.
  
  ALso what is the best price on quality ammo anybody is aware of and where to get it

  You are going to be about 4-4.5 mils low at 600 yards depending on scope height and load.
