Uzi question?
Help- I was given an IMI UZI mini 9mm pistol ( semi-automatic) as a gift. I has never been fired- and has all the original paperwork, box etc and 3 clips. What is this worth? I have seen on some sights that similar automatic models have sold for $10k-but it seems high. My wife got this at an estate sale -and didn't pay close to that-but HELP!!!!!!!! Thanks

Most likely your pistol is semi-auto rather then selective fire. This is what affects the value. The ones you have seen for 10K are selective fire and have special Tax Stamps and licenses issued by the U.S. Gov., so that they are legal to own. My WAG is that a semi-auto UZI pistol NIB, would probably be in the $400-$600 range. 0 -
There are several Uzi pistols on auction, most with opening bids of $1500+ and they are not getting any attention at that price. Brand new in the box as you describe, it is probably worth about $1,000 but in todays slow market you'd probably be looking in the $750 range if you really need to sell it. 0 -
Great- I guess being new to the UZI world- I really am trying to pick up on all the details. Funny thing is that my wife picked it up for $425 with everything- and in the box is the original reciept from 1992 with a $625 reciept. Guess it is not a bad deal after all.
