How do you determine date of manufacture for these guns?

  One way is to look at all proof marks . some are date codes . J.P.Sauer may be of help to you if you contact them. If it is a PRE WW II gun then most likely proof marks will give you a range. but factory records will most likely be long gone.

  Only numbers are under barrels and on underside of forearm is F2 368. Is this a date code or just sr#?
