Can someone help me out with newer Hornady load data?
9mm Luger.
124 Hornady FMJ Round Nose.
Winchester 231 powder.
Looking For starting load and max load.

Money is tight right now,(no money for new load book) My older Hornady book does not list 7MM WSM, will be loading 154 gr. SST bullet number 2830, would like to use Varget powder, any help would be very, very appreciated. 0 -
my book does not show loads for hp 38
Win 231 5.7=800 fps
6.1=850
6.4=900
6.8 Max=9500 -

Any one got data for HP-38 with a 200 gr JHP or RN out of a 45ACP?0 -
www.hodgdon.com load data shows 5.2gr. start to 5.9gr. max. for HP-38 and Win 231 as they are the same powder.
DO NOT USE LOADS LISTED ABOVE !!!!! They are way too hot [B)]0 -

I got mine right from www.hodgdon.com They are the powder makers.
I have shot about 50,000 rounds of 200gr. 45acp and used 5.5grs. of 231 to make major. That is what most IPSC shooters use.0 -

I use 230gr bullets but the 230 loads are safe to use on the lighter bullets.
for plinking I use 5.1 gr (238 lrn) gives avg 782fps
for carry and hunting I use 6.2gr (230 GDHP) gives avg 872fps
both from 5" barrel0
