put Underwood bbl on Rockola receiver, M1 Carbine
I have a Rockola (blue sky) M1 Carbine who's bore is badly worn and I also have a nice complete 1-44 Underwood barrel that's still attached to it's demilled receiver.
Can the Underwood barrel be installed onto the Rockola receiver?
Thanks~!

Yes, Since both Rock-Ola and Underwood were among the contractors who made carbines for the war effort their guns were made to govt specifications, so an Underwood barrel should work fine in a Rock-Ola receiver. 0 -
However, you do have to be prepared for the possibility that:
1) The receiver threads were damaged during a previous rebuild, or
2) The chamber end of the barrel may have been cut too short when it was installed, & it may not be possible to headspace it with your bolt.
You won't know until the gunsmith gets into the job.
