put Underwood bbl on Rockola receiver, M1 Carbine

    Yes, Since both Rock-Ola and Underwood were among the contractors who made carbines for the war effort their guns were made to govt specifications, so an Underwood barrel should work fine in a Rock-Ola receiver.

    However, you do have to be prepared for the possibility that:
    1) The receiver threads were damaged during a previous rebuild, or
    2) The chamber end of the barrel may have been cut too short when it was installed, & it may not be possible to headspace it with your bolt.

    You won't know until the gunsmith gets into the job.
