Looking for gun parts

I have a good friend who is Amish. I was visiting with him last Saturday, and I observed an old bolt action shotgun hanging on the wall in his house. I asked him about it; explaining that I hunted for years as a lad with one of those types of shotguns. Mine was a Mossberg 12 gauge, with a select choke. His was a Western Field model 160 (20 gauge), which is actually a Mossberg model 385-K without the select choke tube. He then showed me a shell that one of his sons had recently blow up (discharged to early) while trying to chamber the round. I observed the round, and could see that the firing pin had clearly engaged the cap. The shell had pushed the wadding out of the shell about a ? inch, and had blown the powder out the side of the shell. Enos (my friend) explained to me that he felt the Winchester ammunition he was using was bad, and that it didn't want to chamber. I told him I didn't feel it was the ammunition, and I showed him were the firing pin was extended all the time, and it shouldn't be until the trigger is pulled causing the spring in the bolt to push the pin into the shells cap. I explained that with the pin extended all the time, that when he was trying to chamber the round that the pin was the only part of the bolt that was pushing the shell into the chamber and it was touching the cap at all times. He let me take the gun to see if it could be just cleaned well, but upon closer examination I found that the bolt index plunger spring is missing, and the plunger is broken clean off with the rear of the bolt. This causes the front of the bolt to spin 360 degrees, and it will keep the firing pin extended out at all times.

My question is this?

Does anyone know of a place where parts for these old guns can still be obtained?

I am afraid that the cost of fixing this gun will be more then what the entire thing is worth.
