Was the monte carlo stock available in 1954 on the standard rifle?

What is the LPI spec on this year stock? I need to buy a checkering tool to point up this stock.

  Yes, the monte carlo was available in '54. Checkering went from 20 lpi to 18 lpi in 1941. I dont point up the checkering with a double line tool.
