I have a new in the box still in the military wrapping foil Remington 541X target rifle. What is it worth?

    I found a reference on another gun forum where someone said they paid $475 for a new one.

    Right now that may be all you'll get. But in recent history those went into the $800 mark right after the CMP sold the last of theirs.

    If you have to sell it you get what you get. If you can hang onto it, the price will come back up.

    BTW, the one I see for sale has a price of $450 but the reserve isn't met.

    A few years ago the new examples were bringing better than $700, but now that no one has any money I'd be thinking more in the $500 range and probably being forced to settle for less [V]
