How to Determine Age of a Kimber Pistol?

I am wondering if there is a way to determine the manufacture date of a Kimber Pistol, specifically a Kimber Ultra Carry 2. Can it be determined by the serial number to get a general idea? Or is there another method that would be equally effective? I am looking to get a general idea, it does not have to be overly specific in terms of a date, just a one or two year period would be very helpful. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
