Value of Revolver

I have a 22 cal revolver only markings "U S Firearms" no serial

can any one give me any history and approx value

    Welcome to the GB forums!

    Your gun could be a M25, M27, M28, M29, M57, or M58. It was manufactured in the time frame 1969 to 1972. You will find your model # is stamped inside the crane recess in the frame just forward of the cylinder & visible when the cylinder is open.

    Please repost with the model# including any dash #s. If your gun is a M25, we will need to know the caliber designated on the barrel as it could be 45 ACP or 45 Colt.

    If the box is original, or are the original papers included (this includes the brown wrap the gun was shipped with), are the tools included (still wrapped), please note as this all will influence price.

    More information is needed. Read the information off the end of the box which indicates the Model number, caliber, finish, etc.

    I fully agree with the previous posters. I agree that it is an 'N' frame revolver.
    The 'n' prefix s/n began in 1969, so the model number should be stamped inside the crane.

    Please post pictures of the revolver and the end of the box.
    Pictures will clear up everything for us.

    The revolver is a M27 Commemorative. That is all I know, the gun is not available to me right now.

    None of the guns I have asked a value for have ever been fired. They are all still in the original purchased state.

    M27 Commemorative; Special comm. model guns rarely bring much more than similar standard model specimens (maybe 10/15% premium) & are usually slower to sell because of the specialized market required to pay that premium.

    M27 5"; $800/$1000
    M27 3 1/2"; $900/$1100
    M57 4"; $800/$950
    M29 6 1/2"; $700/$900
    M53 4"; $850/$1000
