Which out of state CCW is best? UT or FL

I'm in IL looking at an upcoming out of state CCW class for FL and UT. FL seems pricey for renewals and I rarely travel there. Is one better (more states honored) than the other?

I'm leaning toward the Utah licensing.

  The Utah is good for 5 years, cost me about $250.00 first time around and I don't know what for renewal but it's cheap. I don't know much about the FL nonres.
  
  I'd say visit their websites, they'll list which states reciprocate. Keep in mind some states will recognize CCW for Utah/FL residents but not the Utah/FL nonresident version. Match up what's recognized with where you travel and that's probably your best bet.
  
  States do add or remove reciprocity, since none of us has a crystal ball I don't know if it's worthwhile trying to figure that one out. NV just dropped recognizing UT, which kind of stinks for me since I'm in CA.
  
  I realize it's a shot in the dark, but one of the reasons I got a nonres CCW was the off chance Congress passed some sort of "CCW issued from one state must be recognized by another" type law. Long shot, I know, but considering I'll probably never be issued one in SF, CA I figured "WTH".

  I got my Florida NR Permit just in time last year to see Nevada stop honoring it.
  
  If you have the means, get both. I chose the FL NR permit as it did not require me to travel to Florida to get it (Military).

  ...You may as well get a PA permit also. It's cheap and easy. The states that honor non-resident permits are limited, but what the heck?

  I think that you would be wasting your time & money.
  
  You are an IL resident, just take your beating. The jurisdictions in IL where you need a concealed weapon are among the most repressive in the nation. That out-of-state permit will mean nothing to local officials if you ever have to show it.
  
  Let's just wait until the make-up of Congress changes, & we can push for a national CCW reciprocity law.
