Reintroduced Model 94 where are they made?
Hello, I was looking at the Winchester online site and in the new offerings for 2010 and see a couple of Model 94's but the ad doesn't say where they are being made, country of orgin, anyone know?

I assume they will be made in Japan like their Model 92 but they haven't actually said. 0 -
I was chatting with Bob (Robert) Renneberg about this just last week, and the word is that they will be made in Japan. 0 -
On the bright side, the jap made guns are very well made. better than the last batch that came out of the factory. But I dont think they will ever be anything but shooters. 0 -
Typically, when I buy a NEW rifle, it is to be a shooter. Let my great great grandkids get mad about a collectable that was passed down to them that I chose to use. 0 -
Made in Japan? Forgetaboutit.[:(!] Tired of that crap. Make it here or charge a 100% import tax. Don't reward companies for exporting jobs! 0 -
Anything other than a pre-64 is NOT a winchester,IMO.[:D] 0 -

same here with your response.
I really like your name, too!0 -
Thanks Bert and Spider for the reply, figures if they were made by FN in SC they would have been bragging about made in the USA in the online catalog but there was no mention so I was curious what was up. Pre-64, post 64, whatever... there's some nice rifles that were made in the US in a model 94. 0 -

That is what we all said of the post-64s too, but look at the prices they are bringing. Whether that will last or not remains to be seen.0 -
