Advantage Arms Conversion Kit for Glock 23
I just found this item on the internet and it seems like a good idea (I know it's going to recoil different so please don't critique me for that). It's appealing to me to be able to shoot more often for less money (price of ammo). I'm just wondering, why does everyone has them listed for sale but back-ordered on their websites? Was there a problem with them or something? Anyone know why they're so impossible to find?

Well, simply put, when items are back-ordered that means demand for them exceeds supply.
Given ammo shortages and current cost, it doesn't surprise me that .22LR conversions for highly-popular Glocks are in short supply.
If you want to know why they are in short supply, or perhaps locate a dealer that might have some in stock, you could contact advantage arms directly:

I bought a conversion unit for a Glock directly off Advantage Arms last summer. This was because I was very happy with the first one I bought years ago, that had thousands of rounds through it. They were back ordered then to, but because I ordered directly through them I got it in 6 weeks, instead of the original 12 ETA. 0
