nickel plating
Does anyone here do nickel plating(maybe crome) say a revolver cyl? Close to the mid west? Guessament on cost? Thanks / Eddie

Can any of you guys recommend someone to plate a receiver? A related question - I have a shop here in Indy that does plating for me all the time. Can I give them a receiver to plate if they have no FFL?

you say "I am restoring". If that means you are doing the metal prep yourself and sending your gun out for plating, thats one thing.
But if you are intending to pay others for metal prep thats another.
So you have two costs: one for metal prep and one for the plating.
Without knowing your intentions its hard to give you an estimate.
One thing you might find useful is a chat with the staff at Brownells who carry all the supplies for electroless nickel plating and can give you some direction if you want to plate it yourself.0 -

Google "firearm restoration" and you will come up will some good candidates. 0 -
Texas Plater Supply sells a DIY kit. Find them on google. I have used it several times over 20 year period. 0
