Hatfield Sidelock

Need info, market value for a 20 ga leather cased grade #1 sidelock sold by Hatfield of St. Joseph,MO in 1995-96. Blue Book valuation appears inflated.

    When i was in the market for a sidelock a few years ago, I looked into these shotguns. FWIW, they seem to be or are supposed to be a high end Turkish made shotgun. Supposedly better than the CZ line or Huglu for what that is worth. I didn't care for the single selective trigger and went with a 20 ga grade IV Ugartechae with double triggers. I've been pleased with it over the last two pheasant seasons. I had a Huglu single selective trigger and experienced some problems that I couldn't resolve and sold it. My guess is the Hatfield (imported by Kimber) will sell to someone for more than it is really worth.
