Coating shot

I've got some uncoated shot. Whats the best way to put graphite coating on it?

  put it in a coffee can along with some graphite and tape the lid on it
  
  then roll it around the garage for 10-15 mins
  
  you could also put it in a tumbler if you have one that is not in use
