CZECH 9mm Ammo
I just came into some Czech 9mm Ammo, I was wondering if anyone knows the skinny on this stuff, like the grain/weight. Czech 9mm Luger (9x19mm), steel core (magnet sticks to it). Headstamp is 5 50 with a star and triangle. It came in 5, 8 round stripper clips in each box. Can somebody fill me in on this stuff.

It's corrosive, hot stuff, pressure wise. The strippers are for loading into Czech submachine gun magazines using a special fixture on the forearm of the submachine gun.
The ammo has hard primers, because of the open bolt firing mechanism of the submachine gun.
I wouldn't be shooting it in a striker fired pistol like a Glock. Or any collectors type 9mm you wanted to keep in good shape.0 -
I got some 9mm that sounds real similar to yours. It was imported by Interarms in the 70's. It punched holes through the plate at an indoor range I visited and probably didn't do my Browning HiPower much good. 0 -
